BlackSec Agent is a private, closed-source product. There is no public repository, no source download and no community fork to build from — and that is a deliberate decision rather than an oversight.
One distribution channel
The installer is published exclusively from this site's own release store. There is no third-party mirror and no alternative download host. If you obtained the installer anywhere else, you did not obtain it from us, and the published digest is the way to find out what you actually have.
What the licence asks of you
The Installer License grants a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to install and use the software on machines you own or control, for as long as your account is in good standing. It asks three things in return: do not redistribute, resell or repackage the installer outside the official channel; do not modify the software or installer to misrepresent its origin or to strip or bypass integrity verification; and do not use it to break the law or to access systems without authorisation.
Open components are still open
Closed-source does not mean the whole stack is opaque. The application is built on open-source components, Electron and Chromium among them, and their licences and full attribution ship inside the installation — LICENSES.chromium.html and its siblings. Those licences apply to those components independently of the Installer License.
The practical upshot
Download from this site, verify the published SHA-256 before you run the installer, and let the built-in updater handle subsequent releases — it verifies each update package by hash before applying it. That combination is what keeps the chain from publisher to your machine checkable end to end.
